Motel help

Everywhere I have checked the have no room for my trailer. Maybe they have room, but don't show it or state it. Looking for a bed for an early morning start to Antonio's in El Rosario. I will be leaving as soon as my Doctor release me on the 23rd to 28th of July. What I need is an old truck stop motel. I would like to cross at San Ysidro, but I can learn Otay, but concerned how early they stamp FMT and I have some new vents for my MotorHome. Remember I am retired now and broke...:biggrin:

Try Super 8 or Motel 6 in San Ysidro.
Both should be under $60 with internet rates.

Check this site and others;

Try Goodnite Inn. I have stayed at the one in REdlands not the one near the border.

No "official" trailer parking but taking a few spaces works fine; plenty of room.

Boy, the memories wash back on that one.
We used to leave Modesto about 6 p.m. to pre-run.
Get to the "6" about 2 a.m. and ring the bell.
The little lady would raise the curtain, raise a groggy eyelid and say,
"You guys again, can't you ever get here at a civil hour?"
That was 30+ years ago,
I still see her unhappy face,
but we always got the room,
and were on the dirt by noon and pre-running up a storm.

Great memories!!

Al, we've stayed at the Motel 6 in Chula Vista-- nothing special but nothing wrong with it.

Have a safe trip down!
