Baja smack talk

For all those talking smack about Baja, fellow Nomads, etc. lately, I have one question. When was the last time you posted a trip report?

Zac

I havent seen any post that said "Baja is a bad bad place"

I have seen people mention NEws articles, or facts, etc... thats "smack"??

Please do't take offense to people comments about real life... its the way it is.. IF you don't want to hear it.. then CHANGE THE PROBLEMS.. or try....

For those who are tired of hearing the ""SMACK"" how many of you have actually ran for office.. or made complaints against corruption, or stood up for wrongs?? Or do you just close your eyes and pretend its not bad, so you can think you live in a perfect world???:light:

Now that you have said your smack;
I believe "smack" is the back and forth and personal attacks or challenges, nothing to do with news as I understand the intention.

Good thought Zac.
Some folks are generous in sharing their trip reports and photos so we can all see and learn more about our shared interest, Baja.

.Thanks to all who share.

No Actually, what I said Was not smack.. Your response was Smack!

Diver, I did not say smack.. I said the truth... Your right.. Smack is personal attacks.. WHICH is all over BN!!!! I was taking up for the rights of people who wish to talk about things that others dont want to talk about...

I have a trip report (well not trip report Since I actually Live here now) its more of a "My move here report"... BUT to be honest I have already posted it on another Board, and chose NOT to on this one, BECAUSE of the tone this Board has. I have been attacked for no reason a few times... You always hear, Bigotry, hatred, closed minded comments by old drunk people.. and to be honest I don't want those people to know my business..

Don't get me wrong.. I enjoy BN for what it is... BUT It got to what is is WAY before I arrived, from all the old post's that I have read.... All this negativity and the Flavor of this board is not new.. Just go back a few years in the archives you will see!

When one isnt scared to post a story on here for fear of saying something wrong (walking on eggshells) then I think you will find it a more positive place to come and chat!!

And further more... Who says one has to post a trip report???

People utilize this board in diffrent ways .. and just because one doesnt post a "trip report" doesnt mean he doesnt have any rights to speak about other things...

Many people come to baja, and live in baja in order to enjoy a peaceful, more simple lifestyle. Not everyone wants to save the world, run for office and well, standing up for what's wrong...."what's wrong" is all relative amigos. What is wrong for one may be right for another and visa versa. Many of us are certainly aware of the problems in this country and others, but this does not mean we must dwell or be obsessed with them on a daily basis...chill out.

In case you newbies don't know where to look: http://forums.bajanomad.com/forumdisplay.php?fid=50 IS the Baja Trip Reports Forum here on Nomad... Check it out...

I think what Zac is saying, you want to talk the talk... but FIRST you should WALK THE WALK!

The trip reports are what brings us the latest on peninsula conditions and attractions from Nomads... not news reports, not hear-say.

Unless you make financial contributions to Doug, the way to 'pay your dues' here is to SHARE what you experience... it costs nothing and yet gives so much!

Go to Baja... take notes, take photos, tell us (your Baja Nomad brothers) about your trip. That is sharing!

Uh, Ron, you might try spell checking before you post.

It's heroin, not heroine. The latter would be a female hero.
