Introduction and pictures (I hope)
I've posted a few times on the board but haven't been able to figure out how to post pictures. I think I might have it figured out now.
Hello Nomads, I am dtbushpilot, also known as David and along with my lovely wife Jill we have been traveling the Baja peninsula for a number of
years. We are fortunate to own a beachfront condo in Buena Vista and have gone on many adventures on the back roads of Baja.
As you might imagine, we have lots of pictures so I would like to share a few to introduce ourselves to the rest of you.

You are already a hit with me, your La Ribera neighbor, for not using PILOTESE --- that strange pilotspeak that Capt Mike (and some other birdmen)
use. Don't do it. It is rude, exclusionary, arrogant, inexcusable.
So far, so good. Welcome. We will continue to speak to you in whole words, no acronyms, no shortcuts, no BS, just straight English (and some Espaņole
from bi linguals) and we encourage you to do the same.

Yes, that was the fishing tournament and fiesta and we recall meeting you and John. Juan and I didn't win the tournament but we had a great time
trying. Juan and Shari are great hosts and we consider ourselves fortunate to have met them.
We were there about a month ago and noticed that you had new neighbors....dt

Yes sharks, quite a catch...
I have lots of back road pictures and still fly (Cessna 180) although not as often as in the past. It seems that we always have a ton of stuff to
bring down with us these days.
I'll try to post a trip report from Malirimo Beach....

osprey - you come off like a sad, bitter, jealous, old, tired, friendless curmudgeon. how classless.
ok, on to more interesting stuff....
DT - what do you fly and where are you basing?
if you want to talk in so called "Pilotese" whatever that is - go ahead, say what you like in the manner you like, a few insensate knotheads here and there don't make the rules last time i checked.

chill out Mike...insulting is not pretty either!
Hey David & Jill...great to see you posting and LOVE the pics....I can attest to Jill being THE BOMB! We had a great time together and always look
forward to your visits. I'll miss drinking wine from water bottles with you this year Jill at the tournament but I have a feeling that BArbarena will
ply me with paralysers to cheer me up!
I also want to add that it's really nice when a new nomad introduces him/herself...especially with pictures so there is no hiding out behind a
boardname...good, honest, normal nomads are refreshing and welcome.

I guess I'm not sure what "pilotese" is but I'll try to avoid it anyway.
We are based in Farmington New Mexico and fly a Cessna 180. In the past we flew down often and to most of the out of the way dirt strips. We really
enjoy the adventure but now that we have a place in Buena Vista it seems that it's more about the destination than the journey. We usually leave the
plane at Punta Pescadero when we fly down.

Farmington, NM, eh? I spent a couple days there some time ago and I recall a great little golf course I played while there.
If Shari likes you guys, then you are alright in my book...
