My New Chile Salsa Obsession

"Salsa Picante Roja de Chile Habanero", El Yucateco.

I warmed up some leftover carnitas and corn tortillas. The excellent fresh salsa was long gone, so I opened the bottle and poured a bit over the carnitas and tortillas.

Wonderful and delicious! Spicy, but not overwhelming with citrusy and floral undernotes. No bitterness or backburn.

A Floral Undernote

Is when you smell a floral scent after tasting and then inhaling the aftertaste.

Perhaps, Capt. Mike, you have no taste. :P

hello? WHERE is the recipe?

Oh, geez! It's from a bottle? Are you sure that wasn't wine with that floral stuff going on?

An even better deal is the Green salsa of the same brand. It works best when dashed across a big Mariscos Alegria fish taco.

Thank you, Gull

I have a bottle of the green that hasn't been opened yet.

Now, I know what to do with it! :bounce:  :bounce:
