Report button

I just waded through a locked thread on the suggestions forum and learned there was a report button. Where is it?

Some of us use screen resolutions above 1024X768 and the letters do get quite small on those buttons on my 20" screen. Don't seem to have that problem on other sites...

Have you tried that here? Or Ctrl+ScrollUp or Ctrl+ScrollDn (PC with mouse scroll wheel)?

Text & form info get bigger, but the Quote & Report buttons, emoticons, pics & avatars remain the original fixed size.

Interesting observation - and the reason I asked is this... your response was indeed my recollection from using IE6 on W2K - but right now am using Firefox 3 on Linux, and even the images are enlarged. FWIW, I don't think they look good - or are easy to read - but they are enlarged as well.

Lencho, I don't know what kind of color-blindess. On some of the entry physical exams the Army gives, with blobby designs in which you're supposed to identify numbers, I couldn't see any numbers, and the doctor said I had color-defective vision. Sometimes I can't see colored print that appears on a background of a different color, but that's never been much of a problem.

Certainly not a problem with the Report button, which I'll probably never use anyway. It's easy enough to avoid reading posts written by the little ilk that consistently offers nothing but boring rudeness.

Mac Safari, command+ enlarges text only. Scroll wheels on the mouse can be configured to magnify text and graphics when holding the Control key while scrolling. Magnified pages can then be moved around the screen for viewing by moving the mouse if the enlarged image overflows the screen. However, scroll-wheel magnified text is not as sharp as command+ enlarged text.

Handy. Is that a function of Safari itself, or of the operating system? I've not used a Mac much, but I always have a hard time distinguishing the line between the application program and the underlying system... that tight integration is kind of weird from someone coming from the DOS/Windows world.

--Larry

The magnify function is an OS function that magnifies everything on the screen, foreground and background. I believe the "command+" font enlarging feature is application specific, in Safari, Mail and perhaps other Apple applications.
