Looks like a bright and beautiful day you'll be having.... at least until Julio blows into town.
Great pix, Diane... and please, keep your camera ready for more great sky/weather shots.;D

Some clouds and humidity so far---we will see---If the rain comes, I will get out the plastic bag for the camera. Everyday there is quite a contrast in the weather.

Bajacat---that reflection is great---and just plain beautiful.

Sunrises

Here are a few images of early morning light, some subtle, but all great places to greet the day. Enjoy.

Nice photos, Stimbo---thanks for sharing them---I really like the 4th one best---I love the image.

Also, sometimes I really prefer the subtle colors---the sunrise I posted was not subtle this time, but some of my favorite sunset pictures are of pink, not red sunsets.

Oh Stimbo - Skipjack is right.
That's an incredible image - so soft and rather surreal. Excellent offering!

Thanks to each of your for the wonderful sunrises.

This has always been one of my favorite sunrise shots
Taken at Rancho Leonero...notice the boat headed out for a day of fishing.

A commercially successfull stock photographer once told me (and the class) that only sunsets with the sun still visible on the horizon will sell.

I don't know where he got that idea but I don't agree with it at all. Diane's images of red cloud formations. Judy's pelican silhouettes. Stimbo's sun rays on beach sand. They're all different ideas around the same subject. Each captivating in it's own way.

STimbo,

That reflection is just amazing, and beautiful.

Hope to be a little north of Crowley for the Aspens---soon.

Thank you Diane, Nena, and Joe for the nice compliments. I don't usually consider myself an early morning riser, but a good sunrise sure makes for a great start to a day. Jim
