I remember this horrible story well. They are all burried in the cemetary high on a hill in Cibola del Mar (just up the hill from San Miguel surfing
spot). It's very strange to see the same date of death on so many grave markers. I'm so happy to hear that they got this murderer, finally. The
group that was with him wiped out an entire family in a compound in El Sauzal in September, 1998 I believe.

The Mexican judicial system might just do that except I don't think there will be a costly trial. It's the positive aspect of the law and order system
in Mexico.
Am I correct when I say he's already officially guilty of the murders according to Napoleonic law and it's up to him and whoever wants to provide the
finances to prove innocence?
I wonder what happens if he can't afford a lawyer.
I really don't know enough about how things like this work in Mexico.
Anybody?

I remember that atrocity well, it happened the day before I was heading down on a surf trip. When we drove through El Sauzal all looked calm dispite
the massacre. He should be tried in the US. Mexico doesn't have the death penalty, and thats what he deserves.
