Photo trip report - Bahia de Los Angeles Summer Fiesta - Jaripeo - Aug. 08

The rodeo was a fun community event. It seemed like everyone came out from the shade to stand in the hot afternoon to cheer on the cowboys and bulls alike. The cowboys were introduced and a prayer was said for their safety.

We had front row parking, Dern and I on our quad, Pablo and John in their truck were right next to us. My "dad" Herman walked over from his place to join us.

One tough horse

The little clown was the best, dancing with the young ladies in between riders

Herman LOVED to watch the children dance, and I loved the happy look on his face.

The bulls did their best to loose their riders

Between bull rides a few taxi rides were offered

Even I got to ride on a rodeo horse

There were many people in a celebratory mood, including Ramoncito, who really liked my hat.

The bulls did their job well.

It was a fun afternoon
