Topless in Los Cabos / Baja California

My husband and I are planning a trip to Baja California & Los Cabos. Are there any beaches and pools where I can go topless?

I am sure I may be corrected by some of you, but to the best of my knowledge...there is no law in Baja that specifically states that a woman may not sunbathe topless. And, as I recall, there are several beachfront resorts where topless is encouraged. Perhaps not in the family style resorts.
I personally have seen some topless activity in some La Paz resorts, including my wife. In other areas, even total nudity has been tolerated.

Mexicanos do not go for the nude bathing scene. If you find a lonely beach you can make it your own and do your own thang mama. It is not like Spain or France.

Many years ago, I saw a naked couple chased out of their camp on the beach by machete-wielding vaqueros who were camped nearby with their families ---------not too sure how "tolerant" the local folks are lately-------but maybe more liberal now.

But I don't know of any specific pools or beaches in Baja where it is common practice to go topless. If you are out in the boonies, there is nobody that will bother you and skinny-dipping is practiced by many, including me.

Just use common sense, and you will be fine.

There is a clothing optional resort called Desire........enough said.

The above link is very dated. I dont think that Twin Dolphin(hotel razed and major construction going on) nor the Westin(once again construction and homes being bullt at El Dorado where the golf course once was) beaches would be private now. I do think that San Pedro might be an option.

You can come to the beaches in Elias Calles or alittle south. No problem as you and your husband will probably be the only bodies on the beach for miles in either direction.

Was at Los Cerritos Sunday before last with the wife and kids and two women who appeared to be in their early, middle 30's were sitting 10 yds from us with no tops. The wife told me to go swim with the boys and cool off. I did!

Interesting thread.... started by a nudie.. errrr... I mean newbie. I remember the Diamond Eden in Nopolo (Loreto) that had the clothing optional beach area with a bar and hot tub, several years ago, now torn down. It got crazy there at night when all of the guys that played golf (for free) all day and got drunk and chased the girls out of the hot tub and around the bar area. It was hilarious to watch (this was all inclusive at that time, including full bar drinks).
Even though my name is Bob, I ordered so many Gordon's gin drinks over the three night period we were there, that the bartenders were calling me "Senior Gor-don"... we had a blast.
Thanks Capt. Mike for bringing back the memories of this place. Bob H

It would seem ill advised to provide you the location without some degree of investigation...please post photo of how you plan to be on the beach.

If you don't already have a nice even tan from getting sun these last few months, you may wish to start in a tanning salon or on my patio.

In 1989 I stopped by the Solmar hotel and walked down to the beach with camera in hand and as I crested the over the sand at the beach a lovely young woman topless was turning over. I was caught by surprise and never turned my camera on and slowly backed away not wanting to disturb her.
