Bingo
I was wondering why only a handful of people viewed the pix of my trip to the nearby mountains. Too far for you and many others to visit. I guess
that's why you don't enjoy the Discovery Channel, National Geographic. Wassup? Is this the Baja Norte Nomad board or what? Will it get down to "1
hour trip from Rosarito, I swear"? I'll stop reading anything about things in the north, you guys just stick with what's happening up there --
favorite taco stands, favorite beheading sites, safe, comfortable picnic areas around Tijuana narcotrafficante headquarters.

Osprey,
Did you go to the zoo?
And, in all reality, it's good that no one talks about your down south spots. Keep it simple and out of the lime light. Don't draw attention to it and
maybe, just maybe it might stay the same; old school baja, the way it should be.

Hi Cat, thanks. I get a kick out of photos of anything in Baja California -- especially places I've never been, places I can't dream of visiting
because of my condition, my resources, my age so it struck me hard when I took a rare trip up to the nearby mountains, finally had something to give
the board (rather than always being a lurker, a taker). Then, when I saw 1000 views of your pix and about 50 of mine I just couldn't help but wonder
why. Shouldn't be a challenge of locations -- they are what they are; diverse, unique, perishable.

Bear, it's always my last stop on the way out of the mountains. Just stopped long enough for a cold, rejuvenating margarita, a chat with Sergio.
Always a pleasant trip around Santiago and environs.

Hi, again, George.
Thanks again for the superb mountain photos. I had no idea that your mountains were so much different than mine. I sent you a photo os mine with some
snow on them. I had no idea your mountains were so much different than mine. One can tell that there have been some recent wash-downs in the arroyos.
Can't wait until we are down there permanently in a couple of years, and call you one of my neighbors.
Udo

worry Osprey, the board works that way, alot times it pays more attention to a silly thing than a good trip report, but that happens to all of us,in my
case if one person enjoys my reports or gains information,or makes them want to go there, thats ok with me.So don't worry and keep posting.

Not everyone stays close to the US/Mexico frontera...
Pole Line Road (between Mexicali & San Felipe):
Bay of LA (kinda gettin' south):
La Playa de Cartegena (way the heck south!):
Tarapoto -- Amazonas de Peru (below the EQUATOR!!):
