Da plane, da plane!

I got a chance to check out the beautiful Cherokee 6 that will be the plane of my dreams until I can afford my own.
I didn't get to fly today because my instructor quized me for about 2 hours as part of my flight review.
But that part is done and I'm all smart again about aviation. So next monday I will fly it for about 2 hours and if I don't screw up I'll be legal for Baja.
So if anyone want's to go on a trip let me know. Looks like it will make it to B. Asuncion and back to either Ensenada or San Filepe no problem with 4-5 people plus gear.
Anything past there and we will need to go to Loreto for fuel to get home.
I've got fish to catch here in SoCal for about a month and then will work my way south to find fish.
So let me know if you wanna go!

Where will you be taking off from? Perhaps ONT, RTO or BBL?

I recognize Ontario but not the others. The plane is parked at Brown Field in San Diego. I would depart from there.
It wouldn't make economic sense to relocate the aircraft north. It's easy to drive to San Diego and use the plane to eliminate the Baja driving.
If people are coming from out of California or from up north you could fly commercial into San Diego(Lindberg) and I could pick you up and take you to Brown Field. About a 20-30 minute drive.

Fishbuck...
Thanks for ur response.
I have no idea what the Rialto or Big Bear airports abbreviate their names.
I was trying to stay savvy and keep up with freeway talk. Pilot talk appears to be somewhat like the abbreviations used in text-messaging, which baffle me also.
My wife has been working for Southwest for 20 years, and she still can't figure out how some of the airfield abbreviations came about. She still doesn't know what LAX stands for. At least ONT makes sense
Brown field is about 90 minutes from Big Bear area or about 5 minutes South of Fightertown USA!

After a stupid security blunder at LAX, the reporter commented that LAX represented the level of security.:lol:
