Strange how this source is still calling it a TS when it has been downgraded to a TD.

What could be very significant for the Mulege area is that this thing is really slowing down and could dump major rain.

Hi Russ, I'm up at this hour, too, as we just had a gully-washer, complete with lots of lightning, hit over here in Sonora. Tapering off now...........

But Lowell, in whatever form it is, is expected to make landfall over here on Friday.

Just started raining here 7:45. Totally socked in with what appears to be dark clouds. wind ENE @ 16mph. Rain guage says .51 in./hour but it's coming down harder now. .9 now....Bruce, been there and done that on the other post. Just thought this title was easier to ID. at a quick glance. Didn't mean to offend any one.
Sat went down for awhile while it poured for a half hour. Got 1.07". My guess is our road is out again at the estuary crossing at the minimum. Hope all is OK in Mulege.

Russ,
Must be some local cell.
Nothing at all here in Loreto.
As a matter of fact, lots of blue sky.
Lowell is falling apart and it looks like Mulege and surrounding areas may be spared serious precip.
Most of it should stay to the south.
Hoping anyway.

it is just easier for everyone to get all the info on a subject if you don't need to open lots of threads on the same subject. if everyone starts there own thread on the same Storm then someone is going to mis some info.

It's been raining off & on with light winds here in Los Barriles. They say it's going to get a little more intense this afternoon.

The problem Bruce, is that the other thread has become the bickering thread ..

This one will, hopefully stay with the weather reports.

We just had another .40 for a total 1.54 this morning. The 1st shower came in from the ENE. This last one from the SE @20mph. More as it happens and the sat. allows. Good luck everyone!

Rain and wind really picked up about an hour ago.

It is now 1320 hrs in Todos Santos and ...

The rain is heavy and blowing sideways ...

Had to close all of the south facing windows.

Of what I could see from the in motion sat shots an band of rain from the other side (main land) came in just over the top of the Howell clouds this morning and only made it to the Mulege area. A friend, Julieta, came out this morning and was stopped by the washed out road at the estuary. She was totally surprised because there wasn't much rain in Santa Rosalia. So my thought is that tomorrow early morning to mid day we'll see what's left of Howell. A drizzle at most would be nice but that is very hopeful thinking. IMHO We should be hearing from Todo Santos soon.

Latest predictions has Lowell turning east much faster than earlier estimates.

Mulege area is now OUT of the circle of probability in the latest prediction!
