Great photos sunman....we just got back from a crazy great day in San Hipolito, boogie boarding, watching the kids surf in front of tita & bimbos house, eating fish tacos con muchos tecates....so it was fun to see the pics of the road. NIce to see Yessica is a church going girl. Miss you guys.

By the way, we went to look at a very cool house for sale there...3 bedroom, block house on an enormous lot, killer view...$35 G's. It would be a terrific B&B or fishermen's lodge type deal.

Nice Pix ---thanks. Looks like you had a good time.

Don't think anyone who goes near San Roque comes away with a few pix of the church----good thing as parts of the roof appear to be giving way.

Thanks for sharing the pix. If you return to BA, stop by and say hello sometime.

Great photos. I liked them all, but the one with the cactus raising it's arms in salutation to the rainbow was great.

Great photos!
It looks like you had a nice mix of weather.
I'm not sure why CaboRon is asking you to reduce the size of the photos, the large format is nice.

Gosh, I enjoyed this report!

Your setup looks so much like mine I pretended it was my vacation.

I'll bet I know where this lighthouse is. It's at that point of land just north of San Hippolito. We were there last summer. The wind was blowing so hard I had to park my camper behind the large square concrete base of the lighthouse. It took a lot of adjusting to find the optimal spot where the wind was being totally blocked. That had to be the windiest night of the entire trip.

The picture of the wife in the doorway must be the opening to that abadoned church at San Roque. But a lot of nomads would recognize that. Asuncion is getting a lot more gringo traffic these days.
