quik trip

just back from the northern lands. 3 days and lottsa waves. no weather issues except too much sun. here's a sample.......

edit: BTW, we crossed at 5am saturday and when i went around the back to the migration office by the turnsyiles the guy in there (who spoke perfect english-so there was no mistake as to what he said) said, "the guy who takes care of the FMT's doesn't get here until 8am. we don't issue FMT's from midnight intil 8am anymore due to lack of tourists." i told him we were not going as far as GN and would technically be illegal. he just shrugged...... we didn't bother with ensenada. anyone else have problems getting one lately?????

Thanks Woody!

Very interesting about the visa deal... I wonder how well a pre-paid one from Discover Baja or other sources will do without the final stamp, for those crossing between midnight and 8 am?

Looks like you were having fun!

I tried to get my travel papers with my two buddies. They both got them but when it was my turn "Lo Siento. No Mas" So I went without. I guess the only problem of not having one above G. Negro would be if you were in an accident or got busted for barfing in Baja Cactus.

We crossed at 6:30am on a Saturday, the regular immigration office was closed so we went to the same office you went to and were issued FMT's with no problem.

It was an older guy who actually issued it, although there were several people in the office at the time.

Hey Woody,
It was good to see you.
Sorry I didn't say good bye.
I was sleeping hard.
Down here it's green, like a golf course and it does feel like May.
You can send me a message on that other site.
