CURRENT GAS PRICES a/o Sept 20 2008
Bought gas today and checked all the prices (this would be after yesterday's increase)
regular 7.09/liter comes to $2.55/gallon
super 8.86/liter comes to $3.19/gallon
diesel 6.26/liter comes to $2.28/gallon
This was in Maneadero.

I'd swear that I paid more than 6.26/liter over here in Sonora when I got some last week. I seem to recall 6.53 and there is a refinery about 25
minutes from where I live.

Sonora has a higher IVA than Baja Calif. In Baja it's 10%, on the mainland it's 15%.

Diesel here in Nevada has dropped below $4.00 at several stations. Now
that the price has dropped, people will start driving excessively again, and
then there was Ike in the Gulf, prices again will sky rocket. Another reason for rising prices is that the big oil companies have got to make
their killing before all the alternate energy puts them out of business in
the next 10 or so years. God, am I ever a cynic!
