Seeker special

http://www.charkbait.com/specials.htm
Check out Charkbait's weekly specials - they have a bunch of different Seekers on sale from the recent shows. I wouldn't call the prices great, but if you were thinking of buying one of these it would be worth it. Not many left.

Seekers are special fish-finders that trollers use. You tie it on about 48" above your lure and the seeker reacts to the scent of game fish and then sends a signal to your electronic steering wheel and will cause the boat to track the scent line. They make them for tuna, marlin, dorado and the like. So far the wahoo ones don't work very well but eventually they'll get the bugs worked out. I suppose, soon we'll be fishing with dynamite.....

edited for misspelling while I ws giggling.

Love it!!
Looked at the site and saw the prices. And that's on sale...a bargain.
My rods are of the $29.95 variety and have caught tons of fish. All kinds, from trout to steelhead, halibut, salmon, shark, perch, bass, stripers ,billfish, dorado and whathaveyou.
Kind of a golfer buying a $1500.00 set of clubs and thinks he's going to play like Tiger.

I was gonna ask what a 'poofter' was but then realised I was falling in to the same trap that Skeeter did so I googled it. sheeesh - glad I didn't. "Not that there's anything wrong with that."

I just ordered some custom made 5' 45 - 100 lb. Kencor graphite Zibras to go with a couple of dual drag 3.0 Avets for use on big yellowfin, blue marlin, and probably also coaxing some yellowtail out of the rocks in the winter time. Those Seeker prices don't look bad at all.

I, it goes without saying, replaced my 'lost' rods a couple of weeks prior to the sale.
