Remington shots and pins?

I have a Remington "gun" with shots and pins. I'm taking a replacement package of shots and pins with me on my next trip and suddenly wondered what would the response be if they found these at a check point. Anyone go through this before?

good question??????? just show them how to use it and tell them to keep it away from their feet.

aren't the shots close to a .22 caliber? probably not an issue. just keep it all together so they can visualize driving a nail into concrete with all of the pieces right there.

Picture a .22 cal casing without a head. Pretty obvious but it might cause a stir. I think it will be in the very bottom of the tool box.

Remington Power Loads

Since they're available in the Hardware stores in San Felipe, I think you're OK.

I used to worry about the same thing until I ran out and was told they were there. More expensive, of course, but worth it when needed.

Put it in the tool box.

I had a run in with a Marine Officer over a multi purpose knife I had stupidly stuck in my glove box rather than back in the tool box when my son and I finally gave up trying to survive the blow up in the Sisters. ( Sorry Woody, no google earth, GPS blings or headland photos provided ) :D.

The guy wanted $50 for the concealed weapon, but said it would be considered a tool if in the tool box.
45 mins later, I won the argument, Ryan thought I was nuts.
