Its likely that Mexican flag license plate holders are against the law in Mexico as they are not respectful of the image of the flag. In fact no representation of the Mexican flag may be created to be worn as clothing or decoration other than as a flag.

This by no means suggest that you won't see some items with Mexican flags on clothing but it is against the letter of the law. No Mexican flag headbands, no Mexican flag halter tops etc...

Quite different than the USA bikini which we so appreciate!
