LTH makes 6v batteries. The ones I've seen have a white casing. Have you looked locally?

Hook

Yes we also have a Trojan dealer who wants $230.00 each. I know the price has gone up but I'm sure that Costco Or Sams will have them cheaper since I"m going up the end of the week.

Wiley,
According to a chap in Todo Santos, they carry them in the Cabo Costco. He tried to sell me 3 of his ( never used :?::?:) for $ 60.00 each and , again, according to him, bought them there 5 months ago for $ 75.00, supposedly for a solar system. When I inquired about the brand and voltage, he didn't answer me to my satisfaction, which ended my interest.
And since I'm in the market for 6 of them myself, please inform me of anything you find out.
$230.00 per is slightly excessive to put in a $ 600.00 golfcart.:biggrin::biggrin:

I second the motion to buy at Powerstride Batteries near Sports Arena in San Diego. I bought 12 6-volters from them and am buying another 12. Comparable to Trojan's T-105's.

Comitan...I also checked Sam's Club and CostCo about a year or so ago...had some 6-volt golf cart types for good price, but I passed.

I have many Trojans at another place. $230 must be for a different model of 6-volt deep cycle battery than mine. Trojan T-105 225 amp hours. Mine ran about $145 a couple months ago.

Lead prices have been jumping sky high for over a year and hence the rising prices of batteries...especially the high metal content deep cycles.

Hm, the Six-Volt Golf-Cart Batts I bought at Costco in May didn't exist ? They're imaginary ? They sure look real.

Battery Prices to be coming down?

As with most commodity prices recently, lead has fallen. Maybe you will get a break on battery prices moving forward.

Costco on Morena Blvd. had plenty the other day for $76 plus $5 core charge.

Powerstride like SOULPATCH mentioned is good too.
