Bank Norte "Fidio"

Anyone have experiance with Bank Norte on holding their "fidio" trust ?
How have they been in providing paperwork/ payment information?

One of our current Fidei's is with Banorte (La Paz) and they have been the best to work compared to the others I've worked with on previous fidei's. I don't receive a statement or reminder when the annual payment is due but the fiduciary manager, Jorge Pickett, has responded promptly to phone calls or emails and I've gotten a receipt for payment (upon request). He speaks english well which has been helpful for more complex issues.

Our "front lot" has a ScotiaBank (CSL) fidei and it's the bank we've had to deal with the most (unfortunately) for Environmental Impact study issues, federal zone concession application etc. ScotiaBank is a pain to get in touch with, and we've spent an extra $1500 dollars in fees for power of attorney's, Notarios, and various permission letters that they require since they want their hand in many of the permits we were required to have to build a home.

Hoping for something better than Scotia, we used Banorte for the back half of the property. Banorte (Sr. Pickett) was so much easier to work with that someday we'll probably combine the lots back in to one, or switch so that both are with Banorte.

We asked Sr Pickett if they would would require POA's and charge fees to change the bank name on the FZ concession and Cambio Uso de suelo etc that we already have, and he responded that they wouldn't have charged many of those fees in the first place! "It's your property. Just let me know when you make any changes that would effect your fidei and I'll put it in your file." A world of difference.

Sr. Pickett at Banorte (La Paz) has been the most helpful person in our whole Fidio process. What one would expect from a top notch fisherman.
