Hey! We snorkel off that rock point in the pic every winter. Schools of THOUSANDS of fish in 10 feet of clear water. Fabulous place!!

Bill, I gotta agree with Ken on that last one.
That's a wonderful image. I went back to it several times to see how you put it all together. Sunrise as a reflection... the frame of vines ... And
colors all complement one another so well in an understated way.
And best of all is it's simplicity.

Road Rage Rock
Igor, I noticed the change in that boulder 'overhang', too.
I also had noticed in recent years that it was being 'tagged' repeatedly by rude defacings. They would be painted out with a rock-matching paint
color, but the graffiti would reappear very quickly. These events happened for about 2-3 years before the boulder's surface facing the highway was
chiseled off.
I was 'told' and do believe some officials simply took away the vandal's 'easel' and did the same to a lot of other rock faces in that area. Too
bad..an old Baja-traveler's custom that got a little too mean-spirited.
I would like to think that it was chiseled for the sake of the larger modern truck traffic..but really cannot say one way or the other with
certainty.
I suspect it may be part of each. Too bad..either way, a familiar old Baja face has been changed.

What a beautiful morning on the Cape - you captured it perfectly, Ken. It was the first photo I saw through my sleepy eyes this morning - had me
wakin' right up in the Baja dream, it did! Thank you ever so much for sharing your back-then morning.
And Bill.... well, that sunrise shot is stunning, absolutely stunning. You really do have some surprises in your photo collection, and I believe this
is my favorite so far. Thank you.

After the Tempest
Thanks for the kind words on the El Cardonal shot. This sunrise was not so placid as Hurricane John swept past Loreto and on across the sea to Sonora.
