Baja and back to OB

We headed down on OCt 16th and back on the 25th. The first day we went to GN and stayed at Don Gus as usual then hit Loreto about noon the next day. There were two days of wide open Yellowtail bite then we fished Cabrilla and Pargo out by Carmen. Oh, one Dorado. After three days in the pangas we launched the kayaks at Juncallito. All in all a smooth trip up and back. We do this 2-4 times a year.

Sounds like fun, Ed.

I've moved to Sonora, Mex. and will be missing my many trips to Anza Borrego.

Missing Vallecito Wash

Missing Coachwhip Canyon

Missing The Dropoff

Missing Arroyo Tapiado

Heck, I'll be missing Carly's food, too.

Welcome to Nomads, Ed.

Don't forget the Pink Grapefruit and Medjool dates when in season! (usually just steps from Carly's)

Our adobe isn't far from Carlee's, we used to go when it was 'The Circle'. The previous owner used to bring in fresh squeezed grapefruit juice for the bar drinks. Borrego is a good base for desert days when we aren't headed to Baja. This season we want to haul the 'yaks to the Colorado river to explore some backwaters and and wildlife areas. I do ham radio too from out there.
