Gas Prices

What are the gas prices in the Tijuana/Rosarito area lately? It's been a while since I've seen the website I go to updated...

We're at $2.09 a gallon here in St. Louis, and I'm thrilled... haven't seen gas this low in a few years.

Thanks for the fuel report David!
As you know, the Presidente has ordered a gradual fuel price increase so that it comes somewhat closer to what US consumers are paying. Perhaps we can now hope for lower prices soon, just as we have experienced here in the US.

My last tankful (~17 gal.) of Chevron cost $2.55/gal here in Riverside. $2.43 is the lowest I have seen at the local Arco station. But, I feel the extra .12/gal. ($1.92) is worth the cleaner Chevron fuel on my Jeep's engine.

Dang, I can't afford to travel to Baja now. I used to go there because I could at least afford the fuel. $2.19 here in New Mexico and continuing to fall. Utah is sounding more attractive for vacation.

$2.21 all over Modesto today....

Chevron gas is cleaner????
Probably not,
regardless of the company line,
most of that stuff comes out of just a couple of sources,
the name may be different but the gas is the same.

Do you think the news media will apologize to the greedy oil companies now that gas has dropped almost $3.00/gal? If the oil companies are so greedy, why didn't they just set the price around $5.00 and let it float in a narrow range.

I rarely agree with the media when it involves politics or economics!

Today (11/12/08) I got gas in Loreto at $7.25 pesos/ltr. At 3.76 ltrs/gal. that's 27.26 pesos/gal. Changed money today in Loreto at Bancomer at 13.25pesos/dollar. That makes gas in Loreto $2.06 USD. Heading home in a few days so I guess I won't worry about filling my tank just before I cross the border.

Still $2.42 a gallon for regular here in Yuma today.

Usually the Yuma prices are close to the US national average (which is now $2.22), and lower than SoCal. But not currently.

First time I've seen Yuma prices higher than California.

Shell Island is south of San Felipe... maybe 4 hours from La Mision... There's a whole lot of Baja for you to explore!

As for gas prices, $2.31 at a station in Oceanside, today (Mission & Douglas)

Our gas prices in the Pacific NW are still up around $2.39-$2.49

We're usually a bit higher than the rest of the state, probably because of the tourists :P
