1962 Maps by Howard Gulick (Baja Sur)

I highly recommend obtaining a copy of the Lower California Guidebook by Peter Gerhard & Howard Gulick for detailed travel information of the past dirt road days of Baja and historical facts. The book is long out of print, but many used book dealers have them... A revised version, called The Baja California Guidebook by Walt Wheelock and Howard Gulick (1975 & 1980) covered the new highway and changes in Baja and retained the historic data from the earlier editions.

All three authors have passed away as well as the publisher. The publishers son has granted permission to share the old maps, online... I have had a link to the 1962 maps on VivaBaja.com for several years, but they are now on Nomad in case some have not seen them on my site... Enjoy!
