U2U or no U2U, that is the question!
Hi Gang,
I just received a phone call from a Nomad amigo who realized I hadn't seen his U2U reply he sent back to me... a few days ago... (I emailed him, when
I didn't hear back).
So, being that this happened, and must happen to others perhaps, I suggest this (at least what I will do):
When you get a U2U and it doesn't require an answer, at least send a "I got it" or an "A-OK" to confirm it got through...
For the record, I always answer questions by email or U2U, and with all the map and history stuff I have been posting, I expect some requests or
questions. IF you tried to contact me, and didn't hear back... I am not ignoring you, I didn't see it.
Doug, any idea why this happens?
Have a great weekend and holiday, we are off to BAJAin the morning!

Does this mean we should answer the "I got it" confirming that we received it? Might use up all my quota.
I always assumed that a U2U should be treated as any other email message. Some require a response and some don't.
I think the world is run by C- students.

Yes, David, I sent you a U2U a few days ago and have not received a response, regarding the drip system being covered with bark.
No big deal though, I think it might have been a stupid question anyway.

Usually it's a two-legged error.

Well, getting u2u's for 6 years here... and this is pretty new problem. Doug, you know I know how to use this forum... lol!
Bob, I did not get yours (or yours 777)... email me at info(AT)vivabaja.com and put 'Baja' or 'Irrigation' in the subject line.
BMG, there is an 'empty' feaure to clean out your u2u's...

Sorry Doug, ... I was looking for the subject line 'bark' and not an old u2u with 'bark' in the text! I presumed Bob was talking about a recent email,
not one 3 weeks old... He offered two suggestions for hiding the tubes and asked what did I 'think'... I may have missed that opinion request as both
of Bob's ideas were fine... or I may have answered, and he didn't get it... I don't remember that long ago... Bob's u2u was mostly about how well the
drip system worked and his recent trip.
Baja Fun 777 did u2u me and I responded with links to how to post a photo... so, HE did not get my reply it would seem? I didn't consider him not
hearing from me as that u2u, but another... For sure, I sent him the link to the thread on the Nomad Photo forum 'How to Post a photo on Nomad' and I
offered him some details on photobucket.com I do remember that reply as it was less than a week ago!
BajaFun777... here's the link that I u2u'd you: http://forums.bajanomad.com/viewthread.php?tid=24603
I also bumped that thread to the top of Today's Posts this morning...
