Mexico arrests Interpol liaison

Mexico's main liaison officer with Interpol has been arrested as part of an inquiry into suspected links between officials and drug traffickers.

When people say the mexican gov't is corrupt at the highest levels- they mean it. The drug war didn't have a chance.

A recent newspaper survey asked Mexicans how they felt about death penalty for corrupted officers caught working from the inside. The overwhelming majority voted for it. Shoot them "a la Pancho Villa" style. No mercy.

Good idea LOSARIPES! Maybe you can start with target practice on the current US government before they get out of office and away with their fleecing. What goes on down here pales in comparison with what goes on up there. Don't know about you but it has been a little hard sitting down lately:o

So they are re-training 500 TJ cops in Tecate while they do background checks on them? Why even bother? There are no job candidates willing to replace them. If 500 cops get fired today- it's just 500 more peeed-off narco warriors on the streets tomorrow. Didn't they just clean house last year when they took all their guns away. Why the charade?
