Try the agricultural supply stores, or if you just need high nitro fertilizer get some ammonium sulfate at the Home Depot.

Just out of curiosity... what do you use 34-0-0 for??? (beginner baja gardener here!)
Remember, when in Mexico, yes may be no and no may be
maybe!

Depending on your soil make up, you till it in the soil about 6 weeks before you plant.........DO NOT use it on your lawn at that strength.......or
you could follow castaway's lead.....

Ammonium nitrate (34-0-0) is used to kill plants. I wouldn't use it because you
can easily over do the application. Ammonium sulfate (21-0-0) is safer and has the benefit of lowering the soil pH. Both are water soluble and will
burn plants if over applied. Both leach out of the soil quickly.
It's best to apply as needed vs. applying and waiting for the nitrogen to leach out to a safe level. Use between 0.1-0.5lbs of nitrogen per 1000 sq
ft. A 100lb bag of 34-0-0 will have 34 lbs of nitrogen, so do the math.
That said ... Pappy applies 21-0-0 at near 1lb nitrogen per 1000sqft and I've yet to burn the hay field. So, do as yer told, not as I do.

Pappy--not sure about using 34-0-0 to kill plants--Roundup would be far more efficient. I mean you could use almost anything in excess to kill but...
Farmers use 70-0-0 (Anhydrous Ammonia) as a preplant so not sure about the logic of high nitro as an herbicide. Although I do recall a high nitro
liquid fertilizer that specifically killed Oxalis (it can't tolerate high nitro while plants around it can).
Anyway--Ammonium Sulfate is safer for the novice, just don't use it to excess (several times per year) or the soil structure will begin to collapse.
Better yet--go get a load of compost and feed the soil the right way!

Ammonium nitrate if used to excess, which is easy to do, will kill plants. Mixed with Roundup or 2,4-D it can increase the herbicides activity.
