San Quintin Double Rainbow

Took this photo yesterday morning from the coastline west of town. The rainbow came onshore with the approaching rain and appeared to be touching down on the rocks right below us. We took a peek but found no pot of gold unfortunately...

Wow, that is nice, very nice.

You did find the pot of gold just by being able to enjoy that beautiful sight.

Absolutely wonderful shot, BajaGringo. Put a smile on my face this morning.... and if our fog doesn't lift soon, I'll be back to look at your photo many more times today. Thank you!

Thanks - it was actually much more spectacular in person and close up. I used a wide angle lens to get more of the rainbow in the photo and that makes it appear distant. It felt like it was only a few feet away...

Way cool! Looks like the raibow is catching a wave. Hey Baja Gringo, do you know if the Wet Buzzard at Celito Linda has any plans of opening again? I sure enjoyed having breaky there and watching the horses run on the beach.

Gotta love those rainbows !
Cameras often just don't capture the scene as experienced it.
