Approaching the island, you can see the small lighthouse visible from shore at night.

Sunset behind the sleeping coastal volcano's at day's end as we ease back into the bay towards port. This is a moment that I cherish every single trip. Never exactly the same but always very special...

BajaGringo--nice location! What about water...desal? Is the island sharky like around the mainland volcanoes?

I know Dennis - the development is new and I am sure in time we will see more green. We bought two lots, one just for Cristina and her gardens.

Our water is trucked in. There are sharks in the area and a few great whites have been seen on the west side of the island, which tends to keep the divers on the east side.

Sweet photos. That's looks awesome. How long does it take to get out there?

From the main highway through town it is about a 20-25 minute drive off-pavement. Sometimes you fall in love with a place for reasons only you appreciate. I guess others see what we did too and that probably explains why several of my friends have bought there since we did.

The boat ride out to the island in front of us is about 15 minutes from shore or 60 minutes from the Old Mill inside the bay.

BajaGringo,

we rode out to your beach as we were riding to the point on the north side of the Bay last summer on our quads from Pabellon Campground. What a great spot you have there.

Good luck with your project.

When does the slab get poured?
What type of material will the walls be?

Foundation is all poured and we built the floor level up about 3 feet off the ground. Walls will all be cinder-block, not the common cement block sold down here. Outside of the house will be sandstone mixed in with local rock.
