Back to the 40s

Well, it finally happened over here on the coast of Sonora.........

This morning's reading at 6am shows a temp of 48.8 degrees. That's the first o'night low we've had in the 40s.

How fitting that it would be on the solstice.

But I'm sure there are more nights in the 40s ahead.

How about a 'round the Pond checkin of temps this AM? Is it your coldest morning of the year, too? Russ, Pompano, Bob and Susan, someone in San Felipe? Loreto?

Hook...yup, winter is here. Last night was the first time to turn on the furnace, even though the thermostat is set quite low.

Temp in Coyote Bay is 54.5 F at 6:00 a.m. with clear skies and no wind...yet.

p.s. Just checked the temp in North Dakota. Almost 100 degrees difference from here to there! - 50 degrees with the wind chill.....brrrrrrrrr...

Suddenly I feel sooo much warmer.

Hey, we'll hit at least the mid 70s. :P

We're about a mile from the ocean but only about 40 feet in elevation.

Do you believe everything Susan tells you?:tumble::rolleyes:

I'd better get an updated wx report from her before I leave for Baja right after Xmas. Right now I am buried in snow.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to you and all Nomads.

Yikes!:wow:

For a minute, I thought that was the Malecon in La Paz. Pretty sure those aren't palms though.

Note:

Fishing trip scrubbed this morning. I need to stay home and defrost the house.

This from the 'calm' part of the Bay..as opposed to the 'wild' parts out yonder.

Tis a coolish morning....
