nice rig russ. we run vampire tires on our rhinos and grizzlys. they are so sturdy that no matter how many holes you put in them they will not go flat
and strand you. i once bent the side of the rim and lost all air and made it 10 miles back to camp and with no air in them they still look inflated.

I caught a few small fish, corvina & cabrilla. My friend Jon caught the keepers. Two nice barred pargo.

was that today Russ? looks pretty nice...we had a nasty day here today...gorgeous clouds and some squals and rainbows, cool and windy...big swell!
real pretty at the blowhole but a movie day for sure.

Now thats the way to fish the beach for sure,do love that rig. just noticed the bigger rig in the back,this that for the beach? if so for what?

The yellow one? It's a CanAm Bombardier 500 two seater and is a bit smaller than my Ranger. It's a nice machine but I don't know much about them. Most
ride Polaris or Yamaha here. I use mostly crocks but Jon likes fastracs (sp?) and Rapala type swim baits.

baitcast, Good Eye. Quite a few people use them, conventional reels. Especially for the heaver lures. I just hooked my Quatum levelwind up to my old
salmon rod for a test drive and now it's back in the rack. Needed a higher speed reel. I really do prefer spinning gear though. I think a high speed,
high quality bass outfit would be ideal. But not for me.
I usually take a 6#or 8# and a 15# set up. Both on 7' rods

Russ your in a great situation for fishing the beach,krocks work I know but K/M,s will give you far more distance and all the critters love them!
And for real thrills you need to try top-waters,the explosion on the take is just something else,its a visual thing also,the zara spook early
morn and late evening when the water as laid down,they won,t walk in a chop,a POP R when its choppy.
Corvina will knock a spook in the air! you will miss a bunch at first its called "buck fever" but a load of fun!!
