Christmas trip pics @BOLA

Since David and Paulina put theirs up here's a couple of shots they missed...
The first is what a pilot doesn't want to see, a cloudy and darkening destination.

And the last are the cirio Christmas trees around San Borja. Wish the red blossoms would show better, the 50k size makes it washed out. bg

If I could find one with the antlers the size the horse is sporting in your photo, I'd be in horse head heaven! I'd have to find a bigger cardon to plant those babies on!

We did hear a plane fly over on a very overcast, ugly day. Could that have been you? Another came in on one of the windiest days we had. We were driving into town (go figure) when it came in for a landing, very low it seemed at first, then rose way up again before coming in for a landing.

If we had access to a plane, Dern wouldn't have a choice but to take me home over a three day weekend!

Great show AirMech!

I had Herman's book with me, but after finding the 'lost mission' last week, with the excitement (and bloody arm/ finger after falling), we left town without getting his autograph.

I liked your photo of the rainbow and cardon... Is that where Herman found the silver Jesuit candlestick?:wow:
