THE MEXICAN ARMY ALMOST GOT EL TEO!

Agencia Fronteriza de Noticias is reporting that on Friday January 23, 2009 the Mexican Army almost caught El Teo at the Baja Season Resort outside of Ensenada. During the raid the man pictured was captured with another man and a juvenile at the resort. The man below is identified as Santiago Meza López Alias “El pozolero” and worked for Eduardo García Simental Alias “El Teo." This man was given 600.00 Dollars U.S. for each body he placed into a barrel of acid for El Teo. After his capture he asked for forgiveness of his victim's families.

This is an RV park [they may have a few housekeeping units] near La Salina, between Rosarito and Ensenada, right in the AF family's back yard. Maybe all these folks are more cozy than reports would have one believing.

Where was this guy really captured?

If you read the UT article he was caught in a hotel in Tijuana.
If you read the posts where the info was from TJ news papers he was in the Baja Seasons RV part.

Here's a link to an article in El Debate which is the primary newspaper in Sinaloa - almost all these guys are from Sinaloa. In spanish unfortunately...

http://www.debate.com.mx/eldebate/Articulos/ArticuloGeneral....

Apparently this "soupmaker" was paid $600 a week - and considered his work - oh - "about like any other". He's from a town called Guamuchil - which is a mostly farming city a couple hours north of Culiacan.

It's interesting to contrast statements made by folks from BC with those from Sinaloa after the articles - a lot of generalizations - some racist - about the reputation of people from Sinaloa.

Seems like the noose is tightening around Teo - hopefully. btw - Jesse called a lot of this crime/narco-war stuff years ago - he's been right on - don't know how he does is. He predicted that the military will eventually step in and usurp the power of elected officials - we'll see if he continues to be right - mexican military death squads (if they exist) support it.

Baja Seasons is owned by a family from Sinaloa. Most of the tenants are gringos. Good place to hide. ;D

And the Oasis hotel was owned by the Arellano Felix's mother. That's why it was returned after the military took it over around 2000.:lol::lol::lol:

Now owned by Hank. Rumor is that this will be the first new casino in Mexico.

From what I've heard from the locals it was at baja seasons. And if you look at the picture he's in the sand, they don't have sand at a TJ hotel I don't think. Lots of military presence around here for the last couple of days.k

The old El Oasis Hotel next to the Las Olas Mar Y Sol is to be a casino? Is this for real? Any word on how long it will be before that takes place? Also, any word on whether or not Mar Y Sol will be completed?

The Oasis being "returned" is an understatement. It was totally demolished and wholly removed. It's an empty lot waiting for the next real estate boom.

Hank has a racetrack AguaCalientes inTJ he has already converted parts to a casino. It's open and making him money. They had some incidents with narcos there last summer-so Hank isn't immune from these problems either.

The Mar Y Sol building looks the same as a year ago. I don't see any progress from the highway view. A nice color rust though. Maybe more people need to buy into it for there to be more construction progress.

Mr three Letters hangs out in downtown Rosarito Beach all the time. IF they wanted to arrest him, they would have. The authorities are afraid to print his photo- can you imagine what would happen to the poor fools family who actually arrested him? And eveyone else up the ladder? They really don't have secure way to handle him, do they? I think the "stewmaker" removed any and all doubt about the fate of those who dare take him on.

I recall reading an article about the Oasis. When the feds looked at the books it showed that it had a 100% occupancy rate every night since it's grand opening. Quite the lavanderia. :wow:
