No we don't! BajaNews has been listed as Super Mod forever, but he doesn't moderate anything, just posts news articles.;)

Well a super moderator has access to most of the forums admin functions so I guess that would make Baja News an alias of...

(insert Jeopardy jingle here)

I believe what you say COULD be true, but doesn't necessarily HAVE to be true. I'd think it'd be up to Doug what system access & functionality he chose to give any individual user. I don't recall BajaNews ever participating in a discussion, just posts news articles. If BajaNews is an alter-ego of another user name....I dunno, but I'd tend to doubt it....unless it were Doug, but I'd tend to doubt that even more. I think Doug would post under his BN name.

I tried to hack the identity of the Super Moderator. You can almost make out who it is.

Naw, I think it's Doug and an alias he just uses to post news. Why would he give so much access to a trouble maker? A FORUM moderator can edit, delete and move posts. A SUPER moderator can get into folks profiles, ban/delete users, delete entire forums, and possibly even delete Doug's account. That would of course depend on the setup of the account and the forum software being used as some systems won't allow you to delete the forum founder's account.

I wasn't trying to stir things up - it was just the first time I noticed that Super Mod title on another user is all...

As noted previously by me in the other thread - no new news being reported here.

As far as the privs with the XMB software - it's administrator privileges that can do the above, not mods - super, or otherwise.

Well, after you develop an excessive compulsive habit of posting here, it's more like solitary confinemant.
