Santa Rosalia (?) Ferry to the West Coast


Anyone taken it recently? I've heard its deteriorated and more expensive then the La Paz ferry .

I would not call it deteriorated at all. It is just a smaller and older boat that crosses from Santa Rosalia to Guaymas. It is definately more expensive than the La Paz/Topo ferry and since it is slower, it does take about 8-10 hrs, depending on seas which are naturally rougher this time of the year.

Pescador is correct, I crossed in January and althought it is a bit slow and you are at the mercy of the seas and winds it is not a bad trip. For me it is a lot easier making the trip from Arizona to Cabo this way that through Topo and LaPa.
