Interesting article. Some were innocent, some they think were innocent, and some were in the wrong partsof towns and some were involved in the drug wars.

Now, I wonder how many Mexican citizens were killed in the United States last year---innocent and/or ones involved in the drug wars?

The article fails to mention that more Americans travel to Mexico than any other country (Canada #2, UK #3). Many millions travel to Mexico. Now, subtract the bad guys from the number, and it tends to make the article sensationalistic misinformation.

I would bet half of those americans are mexicans with US citizenship who are dealing drugs and get murdered.
