I always thought that the chances of getting robbed between those two points was about zero. If getting robbed is a possibility between Puerecitos and Gonzaga, then I would not know what to think. If it could happen, then all I have to say is it's all gone - it's all gone.

I believe that road is the safest way to go south.

However seein they were jackin ATVs, 28 ft boats, and AIRPLANES from the Alfoncinas strand last winter, Id bring the bike into the room.

i'v done this trip on ATVs, dirt bikes. i take this road on my way to loreto, 3 times in the last 6 months solo in my f250... have a great time

Antonio will let you park your bikes on the front covered patio as long as it is not already filled up. Lock them together with a Gorilla lock (cable) and you're good to go. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.....
