I don't think you need to ask permission. Type in over18 as the password, and enter at your own risk!!!!

I'll prepare a questionnaire, and upon examination of how you filled it out we will determine whether or not you can participate in the off-topic. But I can tell by the way you politely inquired about it that you will likely be on the better side of the ideological divide.

Come on over!!! Better have tight cheeks. There will be those who "read between the lines, or maybe can't read, whichever that might make you "pucker up" once in a while. But they can backtread if you can "out talk" 'em.:mad::?::?::fire:

I don't think it's that bad. Lots of sites that are worse.

You're right. It isn't all that bad. In fact, there's a lot of good info and interesting opinions available. Every now and then it dives for the bottom but, if that's bothersome to anybody, they have but to ignore it rather than reading and ruminating over the quality. Allowing oneself to be disgusted is an aquired trait best left alone.

Senior Senora is right (she and I have an understanding re: her handle). In fact, she has very well thought-out and presented opinions, developed from a long, long life. Kinda disconcerting to know that there is this older women who knows way more than you.......
I totally agree with your summation of oldlady; though I still don't like her username! She's also patient enough to explain any concept to less knowledgeable friends!:bounce: BTY, she isn't quite as old as dirt!
