quik trip

Bia and I had 2 friends from Chicago in town all last week. after soaking their brains on the so cal winter in OB for 3 days we set up a long weekend in baja.

Keri at the Pyramid Resort is a REALLY nice person and was most gracious in her acceptance of my nomad card. we arrived early friday and booked a penthouse for the weekend. if you've never been to the pyramid it is beautiful!!! our fiends couldn't believe how awesome the place was and we spent the weekend surfing (their 1st time), drinking, checking out the mercado negra in ensenada and eating at Poco Cielo, next door to la fonda.

if you like la fonda for their food and drink you should really try the new (6 months) Poco Cielo, next door north. the staff is awesome and the food is better! the prices are unpretentious, too! ohhh. and the mango margaritas by the pitcher are insane!

and the tundra was given a proper intro to baja! i can't wait to use it to it's full potential, way out there.....
