Lodging in Loreto

We are driving from Tecate to Los Barriles with a likely overnight stop in Loreto. Would like to stay at the Iguana but apparently they require a minimum 3-night stay. Can anyone recommend a nice overnight inn with preferably secure parking?

Thank you kindly.

Seems this question comes up every month or so. You'll likely get a ton of individual faves. What I can tell you is that if you are looking for secure parking, Hacienda Suites has that. Walled lot that they lock the gate at dusk. It's a little pricier than some, but there's no minimum stay requirement.

I like the Hotel Junipero. Its central to everything, not fancy and not expensive. I have never had any problem parking on the street in Loreto. There are many, low priced good clean places to stay in Loreto.

very nic small place, only two suites...MiCortezZone (website MiCortezZone.com). great rooms, big baths/hot hot showers, good patio to relax on, runs 55-60 including tax last I checked. one night fine. half a block from the marina. gated parking for car or truck, but check re size/needs as larger may need on street parking. wifi and amenities. owner Bruce Rodgers lives on site.

reality\'s never been of much use out here...
