Bahia Asuncion BIG drop in Price for this Home SOLD

I started a new thread for this because of the HUGE drop in price.

THE PRICE HAS DROPPED FROM $40,000.00 DOLLARS TO $25,000.

This is being posted strictly as a favor for a very good friend, Armando Verduzco. We are not involved in any way with this house, and if it sells, we will not receive anything from the seller or buyer---not even a beer. We just want to help our friend.

It is a two bedroom house on a small lot, 16 by 20 meters. The three houses houses built at the same time. The pink house on the far left of the photo is being kept by the builder as a vacation rental. (a good vacation rental) The middle house is owned by an American who also owns a home in La Paz---Bahia Asuncion is a great place to escape the summer heat of the other side. House for sale is on the right.

The Three Houses. The first picture was taken from the back of Lauriboats property---that is her water faucet. The second picture was taken from the back of our property and shows our created driveway. In the future, there will be a street in front of the three houses and one behind our house.

This is the front of the house for sale.

This is the back of the house

And this picture shows where the neighbor had Armando build a bodega on top of the septic---good idea.

A couple of current views from the front porch. The first one shows the lot stake---I painted it black in photoshop.

Looking toward the island

Looking down at two very nice neighbors.

As I said before, someday there will be a street in front and one behind our house and there are two lots between the streets

The inside pictures were taken in the morning with light pouring in the windows---making picture taking difficult and the colors are not true. The house is painted link pink on the inside.

Living Room---all floors will be covered with tile---included in the price.

Bedroom where the closet is going to be---included in the price

Other bedroom---pretty much the same size, but will not have the closet.

Bathroom that will be completed with sink toliet and shower fixtures---lights, of course will also be completed.

Kitchen---cupboards will be built under the sink---included in the price.

Looking from the kitchen into the living room.

Laundry Room

Price again, $25,000.00 US dollars. It is NOT leased land, so you will need a bank trust.

The owner is Armando Verduzco. His phone number at his office is 615 160-00298---or his Hotel is 615 160 0004. I will check again on his cell number, or if Laurieboats reads this right away, please e-mail me his cell number and I will add it.

E-mail is avg_17@hotmail.com

Armando speaks and understands a little English---but he has a nephew in town who owns the store, Ultramarino San Diego, Jesus Manuel who speaks English quite well.

Also, we really believe that the best way if someone is interested is to visit Bahia Asuncion and see everything in person---some people love it here, and others do not!

Once in town, Armando can be found---it is difficult to explain where is office is, but the hotel is on the main road and part of his family run the resturant there----they can always find him, and besides, it is a very good place to eat.:yes: Or, if we or Lauriboats are are in town, we will find him.

Armando is a very reputable person and he is familar with what is needed for a fidiocamiso (sp) and or for a corporation. Besides being our friend, he was the builder and owner of our home and he also built the home for Laurieboats, so they have also dealt with Armando.

Utilities----The water is a flat 90 pesos a month, and the electricity seems cheaper here than in other places.

Again, this is being done strictly as a favor for a friend.

Diane and John

It's an amazing price. But, I suspect that there will eventually be houses in front, obscuring any ocean view. Am I right?

Eventually, there probably will be houses in front that may or may not take away the view. It will, definitely take away some of the view, but it is up a hill which helps. It is a pretty good slope---one needs to see it in person. These pictures do not show the slope of the land. It is not quite a high as the home Bajagypsy is building, but it is not far away.

A good price, IMHO.

Diane

Thanks Diane. Not a humble opinion. It is a deal. I do agree with you that Asuncion is a sort of love it or hate it place. What may be lacking in greenery, is more than made for by the wonderful people.

Yes, Ferna, the beer is VERY cold at that store  and that is Armando's nephew who speaks pretty good English.

Thanks Laurie for sending me Armando's cell number --- 615 10 37146

Now if someone calls him from out of the area , but in Mexico, you need to call 045 and then the number.

From the US, one needs to dial 011-52-1 and then the number.

For that price you could afford a larger Tinaco if you desired. They do have running water though and the Tinaco is only for those frequent emergencies.- is that right Diane?

Yes the Asuncion has city water.
There are still pressure fluctuations and occassional outages.

We have two tinacos which is a good idea since the city water can and does go out for days at a time. Álso, it is a good idea to make sure that there is an outside water faucet that is hooked directly up to the city water so one can check to see if it is off.

When they know the water is going to be shut down due to problems, the police ride around and announce it, but we do not always hear it---so before we do laundry, we check the water outside everyday. If it is off---no laundry and we have no problem.
