Easter Beach Report - Conception Bay
Here's what some of the Conception Bay beaches look like today.
BEFORE EASTER
.
April 1
.Santispac Beach
.
.
Santispac Lagoon Beach
.
.
Cocos Beach
.
Cocos Beach
.
This nice couple have Cocos Beach all to themselves. What a treat for them. Next week will drive them crazy, so they might use my side yard
as a refuge. .
.
Burros Beach
.
.
Burros Beach. Bertha's Beach Cafe is ready.
.
Coyote Bay. This was plugged last year.
.
Lots of open spaces left.
.
That's it for now. I'll try to add to this report as Easter gets underway..then at it's peak..and the aftermath.
.
.

Do you have any photos of the fenced off beaches? I want to make sure I bring the proper tools with me.

Roger, this is really great of you to show the beaches so well... better than any book! I suppose you are going to have the same places during Semana
Santa pictured to compare?
Let's hope that some will learn the "If you bring it it... You can haul it out" way of camping and not leave trash, beer bottles and dirty diapers on
the beach for others to deal with!

Thanx for the photo. The stampede headed your way should take care of that wimpy fence and those signs will no doubt end up as firewood!

Roger, is that the top of the notch there above just south of Coyote? Have they fenced that entire arroyo off??
Last time I drove in there the iron gate they have had been forced open. Boy that project if ever completed will change the face of BOC forever.

Corky,
The photo shows just part of the Sta. Barbara project property line. The main entry road is indeed privatized and remains gated. Construction is
still proceeding on the development at Santa Barbara beach and has been underway for some time. I've talked to some of the builders and architects.
It's a done deal.
Here's some photos showing Santa Barbara Cove location and a couple others taken in 1973 and 2007. It didn't change much in all that time.
Now?....Break out the golf clubs!

Thanks for photos. Those beaches are among my favorite places eventhough they are where I learned about sting rays, I've had 2 lessons. Nothing
serious, except the pain.
I'm looking forward to the photos of the crowds.
This guy was about a foot off the beach in a few inches of water.

One beach near Conception Bay that will NOT be crowded at Easter.
You might try this one.
Punta Terasa beach. Has excellent diving, fishing, beachcombing..and total privacy.
Only thing is..it's a long hard drive by 4x4 or about 35 miles by boat from Mulege.
Bring your pets!
