Baja Schools - all levels- Closed until May 6 as precaution

Today the governor closed all Baja Cal schools at all levels (primary through university) until May 6 as a precaution with the swine flu outbreak. Ironically, they still claim there are no confirmed cases in Baja, yet, every other news source outside of Mexico says there are at least 2 confirmed cases in Mexicali.

well, truth is, most of next many days ARE days off for them anyway. April 30 is "Children's Day" so no school, Friday is Labor Day - no school; next Tuesday is Cinco de Mayo....

I'm pretty sure this school closure is nationwide. At least that is what I have understood from the news in the USA that I had seen.
