just bought some adobado, now what?
I just bought some "pork adobado" from the grocery store. Googled adobado recipes but they come up as using a chunk of pork. This stuff looks like
small chunks, or a really large grind of pork with spices, cilantro and pineapple.

Any suggestions?
Thanks-

adobo = a seasoning paste, usually containing ground chiles, vinegar, garlic and spices that is used to coat meats, poultry and seafood prior to
cooking or drying to preserve

It should look like small cuts/chunks of meat with lots of nice color to it and some other spices, etc. I would heat it up in a skillet, throw in
some chopped up onion (if it's not already in there) a little cilantro, hot sauce to taste - roll it up in a taco or burrito wrap (I prefer flour, but
corn would work if you like that also) You could also put guacamole on there and a small bit of sour cream - and a chopped up raddish!
Then eat it! Have that with an ice cold pacifico!

It looks like it has all the onion, cilatro and spices in it. Just fry it up? probably with a little oil in a hot skillet?

Yes, I think you are right - I just looked at the small photo. But you could still add some things that you like that are not in there. Mess around
with it... Bob H

Interesting. I've only seen it as a paste in little yellow boxes. The mo-in-law used it one time on dorado fillets steamed in banana leaves. That
was very good.

Throw it away & beat feet to Taco time! What did you expect from the non-spicy food
eating minority?

Legs- did you really say Taco Time? Makes me shudder just thinking of their awful take on real mex. As for bajaguy's dilemma, looks like all you need
to do is cook it enough( it is pork) and have lotsa tortillas.

I would add onion, garlic and saute. then cover in half orange juice and half water and let it cook for at least an hour.
then add the chopped raw onion, cilantro etc to your tacos as garnishes.
