Nice trip photos! How'd you get that far through "La Linea" without getting a "mexican car wash"? I do like the timbaburro (sp?) on the front- it makes crossing the border by car so much easier when no one dares cut you off. You were a little slow on the throttle in this pic actually and are also in the preferred lane (and not just for the free tortilla chip samples). I'll bet dollars to donuts that Tacoma jumped right in front of you- now didn't he? Really though- nice pics. Thanks.

lingililingili - thank you VERY much for the nice words. Woooosh, when you are driving that big H1 with the giant timbaburro up front, you can pretty much go anywhere you want :)

Seeing Coco's place made me wonder how he is doing?
I will be leaving friday for Gonzaga and will drive over to see him, but not quite sure what he is in need of besides the usual stuff I drop off.
Suggestions?

Sorry to hijack the thread!

I am in awe of your memories Sr. Bondy, they speak deeply of the Peninsula and well of you. Hope you will be able to make some more of your magic again real soon.

Ken,

thanx for sharing all of your lovely photos. I was wondering what type camera you have, the photos are always so clear. Connie

Thanks Connie. The topside images were all made with a Nikon D70, raw, all with a Nikon 18-70mm lens. The whale shark was with a Fuji S2 Pro DSLR, raw, Nikon 18-24mm lens, Subal housing, no strobes.
