Frankly, I wouldn't walk across the street in Asuncion without consulting with Shari first.

Woody, you guys would love it... It is a fisherman's dream-come-true town.

Shari's web site is http://bahiaasuncion.com or http://bajabnb.com

We went there after the 2007 El Rosario Festival, and the drive along the sacred Seven Sisters coast! : http://vivabaja.com/707

Picture this:

A rectangular piece of flat, dry dirt with scrubby plants / cactus, a dirt road on one side, and some blue ocean in the distance. Not a tree in sight.

There, now you have an accurate picture.

It would be nice to know the size of the lot. I can't understand folks who post land for sale with a price and no size. :?:

Hey, I have a car for sale - $3,000.

The real estate agents in France have the same technique - one ad I saw said (in French): "House in a village for sale. Contact us."

Maybe it's what they had to do when classified ads were by the word, but things are a little different now.

Really great shots, looks like a very close nit community and a super place for Baja events. Liked the hook-up in the morning with the Halibit super surf fishing picture.

Wow, another place to try to get to....

Angain thanks for sharing with us, all you folks have made my searching through this board a true learning experience with humor, wit, caring and sharing....

Great group of folks here on the Baja Nomads...

Don't see where you all get the time to put all this information togather and post, but sure glad you do....

And my spelling and grammar is really bad, so please don't hold it against me... I just type what my mind tells me

Have just gotten SENTRI pass's for wife and myself, and we will be going down to La Mision in the first week in Oct.

Looking foreward to our first adventure into the "Baja" in a long time.

Hoping to enjoy, but some of the news I'm reading is giving some concern... La Salina shooting, La Mision Police station being shot up in Jan of 09, for the arrest of an individual in La Mision who was the "disposal" person for all the bodies generated by the Cartel in the area and someone's inference that La Salina was built out was from questionable monies...

Know the same happens here in the States, but as an older person... I don't think of things as I did when I was in my 20's and 30's going down to the Baja...

Looks like you just have to really take extra care, even when in a "gated" community at night. That is a very sad situation.

It would not appear that Asuncion would have these concerns....
