MX Fishing License

Where can you purchase a MX fishing license prior to visiting Baja? I use to get the license from the Vag's site. I am no longer a member.

Just come to baja and purchase them at the Visitors Bureau, usually a better price.

DiscoverBaja.com but you have to be a member but you may consider them for your Baja Auto insurance as well.

If you can't get it on the web. Squidco in San Diego across the street from the Marine base has them . Its right off freeway 5. Takes a few minutes .

I wouldn't wait to get the license in Baja, that has a good potential to turn into a major hassle. I usually order mine through the mail, from CONAPESCA in San Diego. Here's their website:

http://www.conapescasandiego.org

The biggest hassle with this way is the need to get a money order. They have a quick turnaround though.

The online ordering mentioned above sounds good, but I haven't heard enough reports of it to try it yet.

Good luck!

The conapesca website is fast and easy..but you do need a money order or cashiers check. Don't worry about the registered or certified mail request, I just include a self addressed stamped envelope and get my return in a week or so.

Thanks for all the quick help... I love this site.

Wish I could find a site for Merc 200 outboard motor questions like this site.
