Only if they can extradite him to the USA. They haven't been able to hold anyone in jail so far and Teo will kill a lot of people making his point when he does loacate his man and break him out. It's just the way these people work.

Please stop disinforming people. Of the hundreds of high levels drug lords arrested in the past 10 years. Only 1 has escaped. All others have been small timers busted from low level security prisons.

Drug-trafficking suspect in custody
2:00 a.m. June 11, 2009
TIJUANA — Mexican authorities have captured a leading drug-trafficking suspect linked to a violent criminal group that last year waged a bloody war for control of the region's trafficking routes and domestic markets, a U.S. law enforcement official confirmed late yesterday.

The suspect was identified as Jose Filiberto Parra Ramos. His arrest is considered a major blow to trafficker Eduardo Teodoro Garcia Simental.

Parra has been described as a top aide to Garcia. Law enforcement officials say Garcia is a one-time lieutenant in the Arellano Felix drug cartel who broke from the group last year.

Garcia and Parra are on a list of 10 drug-smuggling suspects linked to the Arellano Felix cartel whose photographs were included on a DEA wanted poster released in January. They are considered members of a new generation of traffickers who have inherited the business built by an earlier group, most of whom are behind bars or dead.

On his way to Mexico City

That guard to the right of the door looks like he just leveled his weapon on the camera.

Great pics. A soldiers isn't wearing a mask for some odd reason. I guess the camerman was very lucky it was the back of his head only.

OK- I stand corrected on the top narco guys physically breaking out of jail. I know they would rather be with their family- but don't these guys still communicate actively with the outside and run the show? I think they are entitled to conjugal visits when in jail. Just wondering.

Check out this new tunnel they found in Nogales today. It was actually called "elegant" in the article. How can we not have the technology to find every cross-border tunnel? If we can photograph the tip of a missle on a launch pad in North Korea we should be able to find every gopher hole in the border- let alone these huge tunnels. No?

Since Calderon took the current administration, almost all drug lords have been extradited. Thus the current level of violence, because cartels are in caos.

Surprise surprise! the military did not arrest Parra, it was the Tijuana police chief himself, apparently Parra was one that gave the orders to kill those 8 TJ cops about a month ago and the Chief got very angry according to sources. Kudos for the TJ police, its been a while since they last did something right.

Here, here JESSE, keep the good information comming. There is so much mis-information, prejudice and plain ignorance on this forum when it comes to this topic. Keep up the valid information flow.
