Drive from Santa Rosalia to Bahia Asuncion?

Thinking about taking the ferry to Santa Rosalia and driving to Bahia Asuncion. What is the best route?
Thanks in advance for answers from people who know the way.

Unless you are really adventurous, best bet is just to head North on Highway 1 to Vizcaino, and take a left. It's approximately 90 miles to the turn-off. There is another way, via Punta Abreojos, but we're talking unpaved most of the way.

About 165 miles. Mostly paved.

The road on the other side of Vizcaino has a few (or more) potholes you'll want to watch for.

I think the world is run by C- students.

Yes...watch out for potholes and after you turn off towards Asuncion..take it slow as there are some dips and pieces of road missing etc....the dirt part is good at the moment. We always suggest that our visitors call us from Vizcaino so we know they are on their way and if they dont arrive in a couple hours, we come lookin for ya....U2U me if you would like our phone number...
