6/12 ~ Humid Last Night & This Morning!

Last night was the most difficult night so far to handle the humidity. And it's early in the season. I finally resorted to sleeping on a beach towel with the fan going full blast. Had dinner at a neighbors. She served roasted local pork (date fed), mashed potatoes, gravy and all the trimmings! That may have had something to do with the sleeping problems. She had been waiting for the AC guy to come install her new AC for over a week and of course he shows late yesterday at dinner time:lol:
We all got to feel how nice it was to be in a dry, cool room. I want one!!!
I guess I'm just going to have to get over my phobia about running a generator and seal off the bed room!
Here's what the weather station looks like this AM.

It would be nice if we had a chubasco free week, next week! However, almost every trip to Baja Sur in July we get a day of rain...

Russ, any long range forcasts for next week when we are down there?

Yikes. :O

We used to dip our bed sheet into the ice chest when it got that humid.

Keep us posted Ken, we're heading south next week.

Woke up to 79% humidity and 82.
Felt like 90 but the water cooled me right down. Had a tough time getting out of the water this morning. Still have a bit of a swell still rolling in. It was rough yesterday evening when we went out fishing.

Hey Russ,
I just got a call from my buddy staying at my house down the beach from you. He sounded "concerned"!!! He told me the wind is howling!! Patio furniture blowing around. I told him to grab a beer and enjoy the show!! What else are you going to do?, Right? I hope you don't mind, but I advised him to call you on the radio to get an update on weather. Take care and I'm watching the storm too!! (from SD though!!!)

Happy Trails....

Hi Jim, I'm all closed up and have my mimi AC on but it doesn't do squat for cooling the Casita. But the bdrm is cooler. Skies seem to be getting lighter now but average wind is still over 30mph. Seems that the worst part of a storm hits us about High tide. IF that's true then this Chivasco's got some time left. The barometer is on the rise tho??? More Later....of course:o
